In fact, interviewed consumers stating to have full coverage, only had liability bodily injury coverage of $15,000 per person, $30,000 total limit for multiple persons, $5,000 for property damage (automotive damages, etc) along with comprehensive and collision coverage for their automotive.
In the event a consumer having the above coverage were to strike and cause damages to another automotive exceeding $5,000 and medical injuries to passengers in excess of $30,000, there could be a substantial amount of “uncovered” damages leaving the consumer liable and vulnerable to lawsuits.
